JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - You might notice Missouri Department of Transportation crews on the roads today. That's because MoDOT is holding drills for it's annual winter operations today and tomorrow.
The drills are a training reminder for crews before the snow starts to fall this winter. During an average winter, MoDOT crews will plow about six million miles of snow and ice.
